Hairdressing has brought her - inspiration, artistry, and smiles! The excitement started in 1977 at Fox & Hounds - inspiration and technique were practiced daily. Precision cutting - Color Techniques - Perms...no rod or free-form design......no roller sets or backcombing...a new beginning in the salon industry! Experts in the industry inspiring technique - Vicky Tilton, Patricia Litchfield, Jacques Desrocher, Paul Tortorilla, Jeri Redding, Bernie Koch, and the Jingles Haircutting Teams - were my first exposure to motivation and technical instruction.

Papilla is the root of the hair. "Its' a new beginning every time"...with extensions we can add or incorporate hair naturally...with hairpieces we can camouflage where hair design is needed and create a magazine / runway look.
Our philosophy is Hair is Hair. We think of hair naturally growing from the scalp as only a piece of the hair design puzzle! In hairdressing, we have valued the training and motivation from the many industry leading artists that have enhanced my skills. We listen to the challenges of clients, friends, and relatives, and have become even more aware of the need for new techniques and products.
In working with -- "alternative hair" -- a new world of pieces to the puzzle have evolved. Being open to continuous innovative advances occurring in technology have directed the team to each manufacturer we have partnered with. The quality products and certified skills acquired from -- " Amy's Presence", "Color Beautiful", "Cyberhair", "Micro Point Link" -- are examples of the many advanced products and techniques incorporated into Papilla Alternative Hair, Inc. "solutions".
Our goal thru communicating with each client - is to offer a variety of solutions to solve their hair challenge.
