Change

“Change is the essence of life. Be willing to surrender what you are for what you could become.”
Outer beauty is a visual thing, but inner beauty is unseen and much more difficult tocare for. Inner beauty is a concept used to describe the positive aspects of somethingthat is not physically observable. When you look in the mirror you only see one part of you. When you look into your inner spirit what do you see? Do you see yourself as beautiful, precious and loved? If not, then it’s time to change. We are our own worst critics. Once we start to listen to our inner critic, self-doubt follows – even if the person we see in the mirror is beautiful. Our perception becomes distorted and we no longer see what the mirror really shows us – we see ourselves as “less than.” Our mirror is broken by words, experiences and misunderstandings and misinterpretations. It doesn’t reflect our true image. Messages we receive from the people around us are a significant influence. And while much of the criticism we get from others is not true, there’s usually no one near us who spends time convincing us otherwise. The result is consistently negative. The messages we give ourselves must be positive and affirming. Learn to feel good about what you see in the mirror and be strong in your own knowledge of your inner beauty. An amazing transformation will follow.
